Thanks to the Covid-19 global pandemic, my cabin fever is at an all-time high. It really makes me realize how much I enjoy getting out and exploring my home state of Minnesota. One such trip I made was to the Split Rock Lighthouse along the northern shore of Lake Superior in 2016. I got lucky that the weather was absolutely perfect. In 1907 congress allocated $75,000 to construct the lighthouse and fog building. That is about 2 Million Dollars after inflation today. Split Rock Lighthouse operated from 1910 to 1969. These are a few of my favorite pictures from this trip. I hope you enjoy them.
